Senior Track Spotlight!

This season we have one senior track. Logan Mahler has been in track since 8th grade and has been an important part of our track team, especially when it comes to motivating them and cheering them on, as well as pushing himself to give the track and his teammates his best. We interviewed him to reflect on his years in Arlington Track. 

 

What is your favorite memory from track?

“Junior year when I had beat Ayden Kretz in the 300m Hurdle”

 

What would you say is your most accomplished PR? 

“58s 400“

 

What's your go-to track snack?

“Granola Bars”

 

What was your most embarrassing moment?

“In 8th grade I was running hurdles and I fell on the last one in front of everyone and scraped my arm.”

 

What was your favorite track year?

"My senior year because I get to hang out with Cade Riegle all the time.” 

 

What is your least favorite place to have a track meet?

“Hardin Northern’s old track because I fell on that one, actually nvm it’s Arcadia.”

 

What's one way the team could improve?

“Have more football boys come out.” 

 

What's one thing you'd tell incoming freshmen about high school track?

“Go through your stretches everyday and have a strong core.” 

 

What's your favorite workout?

“Squatting + 400 Repeats”

 

What's your least favorite workout?

“Miracle mile”
