What year did you graduate from Arlington?
I graduated from Arlington High School in 1966.
What university did you attend?
I never attended college, university, or trade school. However, I truly wished I would have gone to college and got at least a 2 year degree in Business Management.
What are you currently doing now since graduating?
I went into the workforce for a number of years, I did some interior decorating in retail, and in my later years touched on politics. I was a member of the Arlington Village Council for 20 years and am now Mayor (served for +3 years) and will end my term at the end of 2023.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
I married and over the course of years (1966-1977) I brought 5 children into the world. They were all fortunate to be able to graduate from Arlington High School as well. They all have successful lives and careers.
What advice would you give to students that are currently still in high school?
As far as advice to give students still attending AHS or any other schools they need to be serious about their futures. Buckle down, study hard, and get good grades. No one is going to hand you real life on a silver platter. You have to earn your future. I promise that there is a whole new beginning outside the doors of Arlington High School!!!
