Daughters of the American Revolution Art Contest

Many of the art students at Arlington participated in the Daughters of American Revolution Art Contest. After spending a decent amount of time working on their artwork, many of our students did well in this contest. 

Mikayla Norway, Evelyn Flick, Brady Griggs, Ayden Kretz, Emily Morehart, and Brayden Agapiou all won at the Local, Regional, and East Central Division of the contest and received certificates of winning for each level.  They also received a $10 cash prize.

1st grader Abel Newlove and 10th grader Luka Whitaker won at the previously-mentioned levels, plus won 1st place at the NATIONAL of the competition portion of the contest!!!!!  They received 4 certificates, a 1st place medal and $25 cash.

Congratulations on all of the winners we had from Arlington. It is amazing that we had so many students representing our school in this contest!
