On Wednesday, we introduced and inducted the newest members of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is an organization built on four pillars: character, leadership, scholarship, and service. To join this group, the students must apply, using different resources to show how they display these characteristics in their everyday lives. These applications go on to a panel of teachers that will approve or deny the students’ entries. Wednesday, the students that had applied found out whether or not they were accepted through the induction process. The entire high school and invited parents were there to watch the ceremony and the students had all been asked to dress up for the occasion. On behalf of the high school as a whole, we would like to congratulate the new inductees and wish them luck on future endeavors with the organization.
