Arlington Esports Team Wins Region in Inaugural Season

Ending the regular season undefeated, the Arlington Esports Team advanced to the regional level and participated in the state tournament in Fortnite on March 16 at the Cedar Point Sports Center. The team, consisting of Mason Cavinee (Sr.), Cade Riegle (Sr.), Nathan Morehart (Jr.) and Mitch Hartzell (Soph.), kicked their first match at 8 am and finished their third and final match about 2 hours later. After the three matches, the team accumulated 48 points winning the Northwest region and placing them 10th in the state overall. Star player Nathan Morehart led the team in eliminations on the day with 8.
