We are lucky here at Arlington to have so many wonderful teachers! Let's learn more about our new 4th-grade teacher, Miss Darnall!

Miss Darnall has been a teacher for 9 years. She taught 8 of those years at St. Michael School in 3rd grade and this is her first year teaching fourth grade at Arlington! Her favorite subject to teach is science....who doesn’t love a fun science experiment?! She chose to be a teacher at Arlington because of the community. She said the staff, students, and family at Arlington have
been very welcoming!

I also asked her the following:

  1. How many pets do you have?
“I have 7 pets: 1 dog, 2 cats, 3 chickens, and 1 classroom guinea pig.”

  2. Did you play any sports in high school?
    “I ran cross country.”

  3. How many years have you been teaching?
“I have been teaching for 9 years.”

  4. What university(s) did you attend?
“I attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Findlay” (2 different degrees)
  5. What do you like to do in your free time?
    “I enjoy traveling and hiking.”
