BOE Resolution Thanks Employees

The Arlington Local Board of Education passed the following resolution at their October 17,
2023 regular board meeting as a thank-you to those who were involved in the safe resolution of
the September 7, 2023 bus accident.
WHEREAS, on September 7, 2023 an unfortunate bus accident occurred on Interstate 75
involving an Arlington school bus transporting the Junior High Football Team,
Cheerleaders, Coaches and Advisors home from a game; and,
WHEREAS, the Arlington Local School District Board of Education wishes to express its
thankfulness to all who were involved in the safe resolution of the accident and
for the assistance and aid rendered after the accident; and,
WHEREAS, the Board knows that words cannot truly express how thankful we are for the
quick and professional response of all during this accident; and,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
that the Arlington Board of Education expresses its profound thanks and gratitude
to all those who performed above and beyond the call of duty during and after the
accident on September 7, 2023.
